Auburn R. Meisner, LMSW
Sex Therapist, Sex Educator, and Activist Of Sexual Health and Knowledge
I’m a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) specializing in human sexuality, individual, and couples counseling.
I first became interested in this work long before I knew sex therapy was even a profession. Throughout my life, I have been acutely aware of how one's identity and relationships can either thrive or whither depending on whether their sexuality is supported, shamed, honored, disguised, forbidden, or celebrated. I earned my Masters degree from Washington University in St. Louis, the same university where William Masters and Virginia Johnson pioneered their revolutionary research on the human sexual response and where my education was strongly influenced to support sexual health throughout the life course. My passion for wanting to help people heal, discover and grow their sexual identity and pleasure came to fruition when I was able to open the doors to Intimate Inquiries.
My education, training, passion, and experience make it possible for me to help people with many issues related to sex, intimacy, and relationships.
