Initial Free Consultation All appointments start with a brief initial free phone consultation. This free 15-minute initial consultation starts the process of getting to know one another, discuss your concerns, and answer any questions you have. This also allows me to get a better understanding of how we can best work together.
First Session After the initial phone consultation, you will be directed to schedule your initial consultation/first therapy session. On this scheduling page, you will be directed to schedule an appointment and also fill in this one time online intake form. If you do not see this form, please contact me for assistance. *If you did not receive a confirmation email, please contact me and we will make sure it gets in the books. The appointment is not confirmed or saved until you have received a confirmation email.
Rates & Payments My rates are: $150 for a 55 minutes individual, couple/relationship, or distance counseling session $225 for a 85 minutes (1 hour 25 minutes) individual, couple/relationship, or distance counseling session $300 for a 115 minutes (1 hour 55 minutes) individual, couple/relationship, or distance counseling session Payments can be made via cash, check, or credit card. Payment is due at time of service. After scheduling an appointment, you will receive an appointment confirmation email. You are able to change and cancel upcoming appointments from the “Change/ Cancel Appointments” link in your appointment confirmation email. If you have deleted your appointment confirmation email, please contact me directly for further assistance.
Cancelation policy Please contact me at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time to reschedule or cancel your appointment to avoid being charged for the session. “No shows” and changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in you being charged the full-session fee.
Confidentiality All Services are legally confidential and cannot be released without the clients consent. There are several exceptions to confidentiality mandated by law which we will cover during the first session. Anyone receiving services at Intimate Inquiries should review my Notice of Privacy Practices. This covers how I store and use your private information in my practice. While my voicemail and email are confidential, due to the nature of modern communications I cannot guarantee complete confidentiality over a phone line or email correspondence. Please leave out sensitive details and keep emails and voicemails brief. I will return emails and voicemails as soon as possible.
Insurance In order to help protect your confidentiality, avoid unnecessary diagnosis, and to allow our work to advance at your own pace, I do not work directly with insurance providers, accept insurance, or file claims for insurance reimbursement. If you would like to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, I am happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance company.
I provide non-emergency counseling services by appointment only. I do not to provide 24 hour care or emergency assistance. In the case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
